AACE Handyman Home Maintenance & Remodeling Services has as its owner-operator Dave Adomat, a man with over 35 years of varied experiences in the building trades. He started his own company in 1995. As a licensed General Contractor in Minnesota, Dave enjoys working with clients and seeing projects go from start to finish. He’s very hands-on and is involved in the day to day work so customers are assured that attention will be given to every detail, and all work will be of the highest quality.
Dave grew up in Michigan and got his start at the age of 14 when he started painting a house for a friend of the family and things took off from there. He worked his way through college by painting, and doing minor carpentry repairs. After college he tested for and was able to join the carpenters union in Montana.
He worked on many commercial projects that included building bridges for the interstate, remodeling malls, building the airport terminal building for Glacier International, worked on various crews that did footings and poured concrete walls, framing, roofing, siding, hung sheetrock, did finish work, and many other jobs.
Dave has rehabbed houses which in some instances meant gutting the house to the studs and starting over inside, and out. He’s installed hard wood floors, built cabinets, and entertainment centers. The last couple of summers have also included building, rebuilding, and repairing over 80 decks. Take a look at our photo gallery on the Remodeling page and see a few of our recent projects.
